No two projects I've worked on have been the same which is why a flexible pricing structure is key. Each client has different needs, timelines, and budgets which is why I offer a range of working arrangements to make it as easy as possible for you to get high-quality design support in the way that suits you best.
But don’t fear, you don’t need to know which one is best for you - we’ll discuss your design requirements, and I can recommend which pricing structure would be most suited.

1. Hourly Rate
Best for: Ongoing projects or those with changing scopes.
If you’re looking for flexibility and want to be billed for the exact amount of work completed, my hourly rate option is perfect. This method is most popular among my long-term clients who need ongoing support but want the freedom to adapt the scope of work as needed.
How it works:
You’re billed based on the number of hours I spend working on your project.
I track my time using tracking software
You’ll receive regular updates on hours worked, so you’re never caught off guard.
Benefits:
No risk of overpaying or underpaying as you’re billed only for the hours I work
Flexibility to change the project’s direction without worrying about requoting
2. Day Rate
Best for: Projects that need dedicated attention within a defined timeframe.
For more focused work that requires a lot of attention in a short period of time, a day rate might be the right choice. This allows you to book me for a full day (or multiple days), ensuring that your project gets the priority it needs without interruptions.
How it works:
A flat fee is charged for an entire day’s work.
We agree on the number of days needed to complete the project.
Perfect for short, time-sensitive projects where my full attention is required.
Benefits:
You can easily budget for the project based on the number of days booked.
Your project will be my sole focus for the day, ensuring faster turnaround times.
Great for short deadlines or when you need a project completed urgently.
3. Project Rate
Best for: Well-defined projects with clear objectives and deadlines.
If your project has clear scope, timeline, and deliverables, then a project rate provides predictability and peace of mind. This option offers a fixed price for the entire project, regardless of how long it takes to complete.
How it works:
We agree on the scope of the project upfront, including goals, deliverables, and deadlines.
I provide a fixed price for the entire project, which won’t change unless the scope is revised.
Ideal for one-off projects like branding packages, websites or marketing collateral
Benefits:
Fixed pricing means you know the exact cost from the start, making it easier to manage budgets.
Less concern over time spent; my focus is on delivering the agreed results.
Perfect for businesses that want a set price without worrying about hourly billing.
4. Retainer
Best for: Ongoing work or businesses needing regular design support.
A retainer is a great option if you anticipate needing ongoing design work each month. Under this agreement, you pay an agreed-upon amount for a set number of hours, days or specific tasks every month, ensuring that you always have me on hand when needed.
How it works:
We agree on a monthly fee for a set number of hours or specific services.
You get priority access to my time each month, ensuring quick turnarounds on design requests.
Suitable for businesses that need regular updates, social media graphics, or ongoing design support.
Benefits:
I become an extension of your inhouse team, providing consistent design support each month.
Easier budgeting since you know what you’ll pay each month
Builds a long-term working relationship which allows me to understand your business better and provide more tailored design solutions over time.
Conclusion
No matter what your requirements are, there’s a pricing structure that fits your needs.
